The mission of The Potier Foundation, Inc. is to better the academic opportunities and performance of adolescent males of color between the ages of 11-18 years of age. We are dedicated, to helping young men go onto higher education, by providing them with: mentoring, academic enrichment workshops, manhood training, job training and academic resources. These initiatives are developed to prepare young men to be both qualified college applicants, as well as, trained job seekers. It is our belief, that through these initiatives, we will be able to promote both responsibility and leadership skills among program participants that will help them in the: classroom, their family, community, and in life.
We provide workshops for young, men of color throughout the City of Boston. If you would like to set-up a workshop at a church, school, or community center feel free to contact us at potierfoundation@yahoo.com. In addition, we also provide students with personal, counseling sessions as well. If you have a son, nephew or brother that needs guidance in this particular area please send them our way.

Vision:
The Potier Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to improving the educational opportunities of young men of color, by enhancing their educational opportunities, professional tutaledge, spiritual guidance, personal development and leadership qualities. We realize that every day, young men of color are continually seeing negative images of themselves. These negative images, have lead to violence and despair within communities of color across the country. Ultimately, because of this state of despair and hopelessness gangs, violence and death have pervaded inner-city communities. Our goal as an organization, is to use our collective resources, experience and talent to counteract the negative barriers that have served to limit their achievement and understanding of themselves.
