What we stand for...

Vision:

The Potier Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to improving the educational opportunities of  low income, first generation, males of color by enhancing their educational opportunities, professional tutaledge, spiritual guidance, personal development and developing leadership qualities. We realize that every day, young men of color are continually seeing negative images of themselves. These images have led to emulating violence and sense of despair within communities of color across the country. As a result of this utter state of hopelessness gangs, violence, and death have pervaded inner-city communities. Our goal as an organization, is to use our collective resources, experience, and talent to counter-act the negative barriers that have served to limit young men's aspirations, options, and motivation.

The Potier Foundation, Inc.:

(The P.F., INC.) is  dedicated to fostering college preparation, leadership development, civic engagement and successful life planning for young males of color. We are devoted to aiding adolescent males of color "achieve" their goal of obtaining a college education, so that they can positively impact:  themselves, their family, and the greater community.
